Synopsis:Film about the construction of a BP refinery at Little Aden, Ghadir Bay in the 1950s
Shotlist:Film opens with GVs of Little Aden and Little Aden Bay also known as Bureika. Desert and riverboat GVs, construction of a derrick which finds water, construction of refinery with heavy machinery and quarrying explosions at Ghaddir. HM The Queen Elizabeth II is seen visiting Aden while the locals inhabitants sing and dance. The refinery is then given a lick of paint. Footage of the hospital also built and people relaxing on the beach.
